Three days ago, we were looking at rings.
It was silly, and it was hopeful, and it was impractical. But we were just looking.
The next day we found out you were leaving.
And you cried for hours with me, and I admitted the thing I am most afraid to admit to anyone - that you are the only thing I have in my life.
That you are the only person who is truly there, that I would truly give up everything for. I never had a concept of family, and thank god for you coming into my life and being there to show me how to really truly care for a person and to be truly cared about.
I mean it when I say I love you with all my heart.
And so we're going to fight like hell for this.
But today I watched the news, and I was horrified to hear "gas prices have doubled in just a year".
You're just going to be so far.
How are we going to do this?
I want to believe in us, but it's extreme. I love you and I care about you and I cannot live every day of my waking life without you.

Somebody say something encouraging.
Something compelling
Something hopeful.
